 Ranger's Review
The reservoir was re-stocked this week at Middlemead with 3000 high quality rainbows.
Rod catches improved along the main dam wall with many anglers taking limit catches on a variety of nymphs and lures. The inlet area is now in fine form for bank anglers using intermediate lines and goldheads with a fast figure of eight retrieve.
For the boat angler the hot spot has been to drift over the drop off at Atlantis using bright blobs and boobies on both intermediate and fast sinking lines. Another notable catch of interest was a 10lb pike which was caught on the fly!
Please note spinning for both Trout and Pike is allowed every Wednesday and full day boat hire charges for theremainder of the season will be held at £15.
