TUITION

 

Lessons are available at the Reservoir for both beginners and improvers, either as an individual or in group sessions.

Before you invest in equipment you should learn to cast. This will enable you to establish the length and weight of rod which best suits you. The average length of rod for both bank and boat fishing is about 9' 6'' and about a 7 weight. A casting lesson with one of the qualified instructors available at Hanningfield will help you choose.

The various fly lines that you will need will have to be the same weight to match the rod.

Rods and lines may be loaned from the on site tackle shopand the following club members are qualified casting instructors (they will charge for their services):
